Terms & Conditions

1. Company & Scope
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all chauffeur services provided by Swiss Top Transfer GmbH (“Company”, “we”, “us”). By placing a booking, the Customer (“you”) accepts these Terms for themselves and all passengers.
 
2. Definitions
* Customer: the person/entity placing the booking and responsible for payment.
* Passenger: the person(s) transported.
* Service: transfer, hourly hire (disposal), tours, meet & greet, and related chauffeur services.
* Booking Confirmation: our written confirmation (email/WhatsApp) with service details and price.
3. Booking & Contract Formation
A booking becomes binding once we issue a Booking Confirmation. The Customer confirms that all information provided (pickup, time, flight number, passenger/luggage count, contact number) is accurate.
4. Pricing, Extras & Changes
Prices are as confirmed. Additional charges may apply for:
* extra stops, route changes, additional waiting beyond included time,
* tolls/parking where applicable,
* damages/excessive soiling, smoking, or misconduct,
* additional passenger/luggage requiring a larger vehicle class.
Changes must be requested in writing; we confirm availability and updated price (if any).
5. Payment
Payment method is agreed in the Booking Confirmation and may include:
* advance payment (full/partial),
* payment link / card payment,
* bank transfer for approved corporate accounts.
If a “pay later” booking is accepted, the Customer remains liable under the cancellation policy below.
6. Cancellation & No-Show Policy
Cancellations must be made in writing (email/WhatsApp) by the Customer.
Standard cancellation windows (all services unless stated otherwise in the Booking Confirmation):
* More than 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time: free cancellation.
* Less than 48 hours before pickup: 50% of the total booking price is payable.
* Less than 24 hours before pickup: 100% of the total booking price is payable.
* No-show (airport/address) or failure to be reachable: 100% of the total booking price is payable.
* Cancellation fees are payable regardless of payment method
“The relevant time is the scheduled pickup time stated in the Booking Confirmation.”
7. Waiting Time & Flight Tracking
* Airport pickups: We track the flight when a flight number is provided. Included waiting time is up to 60 minutes after actual landing time. After included waiting, waiting time is billable.
* Hotel/private address pickups: Included waiting time is 15 minutes from scheduled pickup time. After included waiting, waiting time is billable.
If the Customer/Passenger cannot be reached and does not appear within a reasonable period, the Service may be treated as no-show.
8. Customer Responsibilities
The Customer must ensure:
* a reachable phone number on the service day,
* correct pickup details and timing,
* passengers are ready at pickup time,
* compliance with safety rules (seatbelts, child seats where required by law).
Delays caused by inaccurate information or customer readiness may result in waiting charges or service disruption.
9. Safety, Conduct, and Vehicle Care
We may refuse service if a passenger’s behavior creates safety risk, includes abuse/threats, or illegal requests. The Customer is liable for damages, excessive soiling, smoking violations, and related downtime/cleaning costs.
10. Subcontracting / Partner Carriers
We may use vetted partner carriers to deliver the Service. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, the Company remains the contracting party towards the Customer.
11. Liability Limitations
We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control (accidents, road closures, severe weather, strikes, authority actions). We do not guarantee arrival times unless expressly agreed in writing. Personal belongings remain the Passenger’s responsibility.
12. Data Protection
We process personal data necessary to provide the Service (contact details, itinerary, billing, communications). Data may be shared with service providers strictly for service delivery (e.g., partner carrier, payment provider). Customers may request access/correction as applicable under Swiss law.
13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Swiss law. Exclusive place of jurisdiction is Zurich, Switzerland, unless mandatory consumer rules apply.
